Everyone seems to be waiting for the late fall pattern to emerge but it will be at another month before we get to see the beginning of that. Until then blues are still around and resident rockfish will bite the normal patterns. Best chance is to find some bait breaking or submerged and jig or cast into the schools. Rock, blues and maybe some spanish macs are sticking close to the bait trying to feed before the cold forces the bait farther south.
